CPU pros and cons.

1: What is so special about the Intel Xeon? I understand that they are scalable can have up to 4 in 1 system giving you the ability to have tonnes of GPUs and tonnes of Ram. How are they worth 4-5 times?

SKL 8180 = R194,403.23 : 56Threads @ 2.5GHz : 1.75MB L1 - 18MB L2 - 38.5MB L3

2990WX = R32,500.00 : 64Threads @ 3.4GHz : 3MB L1 - 16MB L2 - 64MB L3

7980XE = R43,699.00 : 36Threads @ 2.6GHz : 1.125MB L1 - 18MB L2 - 24MB L3

2: Are there any problems one would run into rendering with Intel and AMD in one render farm?
