How to use 'sss_set_name' with Arnold API?

Hi,

While rendering several joined objects with the same SSS material, the border between objects is visible.

I know I have to use 'sss_set_name' to remove the seam but I don't know how to use it only with Arnold API.

In the kick -info polymesh or standard_surface, the keyword does not appear.

Many thanks for your answer.

You can see the effect on skull and neck of the character on picture below:

Check out the User Data API in the Arnold docs

Do you use any software, like Maya or Houdini? Export an ASS file to see what comes out.

Check out the SItoA opensource on the Autodesk github for examples.
