Does Arnold support AVI texture?

when I tried to load AVI texture as a diffuse map into the max physical material (an avi encoded with MJPG compressor, which works fine with V-Ray render, by the way), max accepted, he will show avi texture in this small ball in the material window... but then, after changing render into ARNOLD, the material will lose image over the material ball, and ball will become BLACK, and ARNOLD won't render... any other way to render something animated in the scene with Arnold??

AVI is not supported. You have to use image sequences.

wished I know how, but I'm not that good. I don't know what is or where is 'image sequence.' I was looking for any Arnold map for Diffuse slot, to put TXT list of frames instead of single texture, but I can't.. just some MATH, Sub, Add, Int, Float.. I'm not a programmer. why simple when is better complicated? what if I want to put a whole movie inside the scene with 300,000 frames...? with 'image sequence'?

yes I found it, thank you. I learned there is a small box 'Sequence' to check in dialog window after bitmap is called, but is active to check only if Max can recognize a series of frames properly numbered like *_000.png ,*_001.png ...etc. and then Max will create an .ifl file with all the frames listed for call. it works, will be good for a couple of seconds, but for the full 4K movie inside the scene we must wait for the next generation of Arnold. Trouble Solved, Case Closed.
