Yeti Hair groom freezes maya when rendering

When i was done doing my hair groom using yeti i tried to render it with arnold and it froze maya completely, I tried doing a new scene with a simple sphere and add yeti nodes and it renders fine. Been stuck with the problem for days. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

This is probably way too late, but do you have a displacement map on your object? If so you might need to put in displacement node at the end of your groom graph. I've been fighting this same problem for ages as well and there doesn't seem to be much about it online. One time I got it to work by hiding the groom, launching a Arnold IPR render and while it's rendering un-hiding the groom and it refreshed and continued rendering with the groom. Hope this helps!
