Why doesn't aiRoundCorners work on convex edges?

It seems to work fine on the concave edges at the base of the extrusions but not on any other edges? Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I have the aiRoundCorners outValue plugged into the normalCamera of the aiStandardSurface shader.

Works fine here. I added the scene here.

Hi @Lee Griggs

So this is rather strange...when I open your scene everything works as expected. But if I make a new cube and assign your shader it does not work on the new geometry. I tried in both Maya 2017 and 2018 and experienced the same result. This is rendered from the scene you provided.

Well I've discovered the issue. My meshes are created single sided by default, when I turn on Double Sided the rounded corners render correctly.

Seems like a bug to me.
