Skin specularity (1 spec for skin and one for lips) what nodes to use?

Arnold shader in houdini. Should i use Only arnold nodes that i get inside arnold shader VEX builder? Or can i use some other nodes as well?

As trying to figure out what node to use in this scenario.
As i want to control lips specularity separate from over all skin spec. (I got separate maps for those).

Shittier version would be use one spec map and go bavck to Mari and texture lips brighter to increase lips specularity. But that seems to be clunky workflow.
Would prefer to use second map for lips and have option to change lips spec separately from skin spec

You could try using a Color Correct or a Range shader.
