Check your houdini.env
Start houdini from a terminal (eg a Houdini terminal). Then you should see some HtoA log messages (assuming HtoA is found during startup).
This is my .env:
# htoa config start HOUDINI_PATH = "/Users/Boy/htoa/htoa-2.1.4_rb6da092_houdini-16.0.736/htoa-2.1.4_rb6da092_houdini-${HOUDINI_VERSION};&" # htoa config end HOUDINI_NO_SPLASH = 1 HOUDINI_PATH = PATH_TO_YOUR\GameDevelopmentToolset;&
The second HOUDINI_PATH is overwriting the one that adds HtoA to the HOUDINI_PATH
I deleted second path, and now HtoA is starting,
but when i create material or try to render,
it crashing Houdini, why???
Where is this crash log file located???
i don't see any log here...
Ok, made simple scene, with box, cam, ar light, ar rop,
This log was created when i hit render button:
00:00:00 462MB WARNING | [htoa.colorspace] Render color space "" does not exists in color manager, using default "linear" instead. 00:00:00 462MB WARNING | [htoa.colorspace] Auto color space "" does not exists in color manager, using default "sRGB" instead.
