How can I apply shader with textures to complex object properly?

Since I don't know how to make models in C4d, I've always import models from Rhino or Fusion 360 for rendering. And when I try to apply some textured shaders, they always rendered like they're pulled up somewhere or some point like the images below.

I think I have to do something with UV mapping or polygon edit, but those techniques are kind of complicated for a beginner :p. Can anybody tell me what am i supposed to do to apply shaders looks uniform or not distorted like this image ?

probably nothing can save you at some point from properly uv map your stuff .. but for the while you may try with an aiTriplanar texture node

It worked! I should check it deeper to apply with bump map or displacement. much appreciated.
