GPU or CPU

I want to create a little renderfarm and want to know if i should go on gpu or cpu (just in General bcs arnold doesnt support gpu at The time) i do Animations That need to be realistic and i need a fast Network to work with it, i know that gpu is almost faster then cpu but they have memory limitations or limitations in general and CPU not really

The other thing is which will do a better Job (noise, sharpness Office the pictures, speed) in some Cases did the cpu a better Job then the gpu but was alot slower.

I Read alot of Forums and some say CPU is better in workflow and some GPU but with memory limitations

There are motherboards with 6 GPU slots but i personally have no idea how i Can buy a cpu Cluster

Thanks for Help.
