How to assign one png bitmap as base color+opacity?

As you see in the picture, I clone the same png twice and for the one

I assign to opacity map I check these two options to enable it's transparency.

My question is:

Instead to clone it, is it possible to do this with one only bitmap?

Using color correct or other option...

You have two options:

  • copy the bitmap, and set one to have it's RGB output to grayscale alpha
  • use the OSL BitmapLookup instead, which has separate Alpha output
