motion blur and animated texture

Hi there.

I was wondering if there is a way to motion blur a texture with animated UV coordinates offset on a non-animated object?

I asked the same years ago, but it seems not possible if the object is not moving.

I was trying to animate a shot with the camera facing a tire on a road in close-up angle. Since the animation was fast, I wanted to have just the wheel rotating in place and make the texture of the road moving.

Having the texture motion blurred would have been of great help!

If you are asking on animating the offset value in a 2dtetxurenode, then it work. I have done a project. I had a camera static shot of showing light streaks on road (vehicle passing). I created cylinders lines and used ramp on utility shader and animation offset on ramp 2d texture node, motion blur (render setting) on, It worked. I got the result i was looking for.

Yes it works, indeed!

I was animating the offset on an aiImage node, so that it didn't work. But connecting a place2DTexture in the UVcoord input of my aiImage, and animating the offset on this new node, now I have my motion blur working!

Thanks @Girijashankar Senapati !
