Error using multiple colors in ramp

I want to use a ramp (rgb) in Katana but when I add more than 2 colors in the range it just doesn't render. When I have the original black to white (or any other two colors) there is no problem and it will render just fine. Is there a bug in the ramp? It's not working in any type (u/v/cirical etc).
