How to make gradient transparency

Hi. I need to make my character with gradient transparency. But I don't know how to make gradient transparency in arnold. So, the bottom part should be non transparent, and it should become transparent on the top. I tried opacity, but it was not I want. Opacity was non-showed, but I want transparent with specular.

Please help me.. I'm struggling with this T0T

+I'm using maya 2018

Meshes in Arnold don't actually have a transparency attribute I think .

Try attach your gradient map to Transmission weight and turn on Thin walled in Geometry column , you will get something like this .

Hope it helps . Cheers

Not sure which plugin you are using (MAXtoA?) but ramp -> Transmission Weight should work.
