Toon contour lines based on depth

Hi there;

The Toon shading is great but I miss one thing Mental Ray did really great and it is that it could create contour lines base on depth or distance from the camera.

So, if you have two parallel surfaces, one behind the other, with Arnold it's kind of impossible to get contour lines for them since their normals are the same. So the only way to differenciate them is to base the lines on the depth.

Is it possible to do with MtoA?

The just released Arnold 7.2.4 (and associated plugins) now properly finds these edges. https://arnoldrenderer.com/download/
