Height Map Problem (MTOA Arnold 5)

Hello,

I am having issues with my height map for my wood shader. I created textures in substance painter using relatively low values for height.

I tried two different node setups for height maps; however, both are producing extremely black, grainy renders.

Set up 1- nodesetup1.png

Set up 2 - nodesetup2.png

For the second setup I tried to switch the 2dbump attribute from bump to tangent space normal to object space normal, however they all produced errors of areas rendering similarly or just failing to render.

Height should be displacement, so I would focus on the displacement setup
