Hello,
I have a scene with many instance objects (render instances) and multiple cloners (multi instances) in C4D (R20.057).
When I try to render an animation, the time C4DtoA (2.4.5) takes to "export" and "create translators" increases heavily with every frame. I tried a workaround with different takes where every take renders only 10 frames at a time, because the exporting time resets again with every new render-sequence, but since the scene has a couple of thousand frames, I can't create hundreds of takes.
To me, it looks like some kind of cache problem adding up with every frame, although there's no calculation in my scene depending on previous frames or adding up, no simulations, just keyframe-animation.
Is there any cache option you can disable or a way to empty Arnold's cache after every rendered frame? Or anything else you can think of causing this problem?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Sorry for the late reply, I was busy with the release. I'm not able to reproduce the issue, I see no signs of a memory leak trying Render Instances and Multi-Instances. Are you on Windows or Mac? Can you reproduce it with some simple objects or do you have a scene I can take a look at?
