MAXtoA GPU mode doesn't do anything

If I render on CPU it works fine, but if I switch to GPU the rendering window opens and instantly closes and nothing changes on the viewer.

I activated the log and it complained about the drivers with the creators one, probably because of the locale thing already mentioned here. However, I switched to the game ready drivers and it doesn't error now, but the result is the same.

Is this with every scene? What happens with a simple scene? Can you provide a log file, please?

I managed to solve it.

It happened with every scene created before switching to GPU Arnold.

The solution was to change the decimal symbol from comma to dot in the control panel, reboot, and then when rendering a scene it still fails, but if you make a change, e.g. increasing and then decreasing light instensity, it seems to update to the new symbol and it works. The error was due to it seeing old drivers.

Another thing that happened was that the log identified my OS as Windows 8 instead of 10, I'm guessing because of the decimal thing.

Now, everytime I open an old scene, I click render, make a change and then it's rendering on GPU. The difference is enormous between my i5 2500K and my GTX 1060.
