HtoA 4.0.0 Ramp RGB always crash Houdini 17.0.506 & Houdini 17.5.173

Hi,

I'm using HtoA4.0.0 on Houdini 17.0.506 & Houdini 17.5.173.

I noticed while learning OpenVDB Workflow(https://docs.arnoldrenderer.com/display/A5AFHUG/OpenVDB+Workflow), every time I create Ramp RGB crashes Houdini.

Is there any solution?

no crash here, tested on several vdb files as you can see in the image bellow

I was surprised. I'm using HtoA 4.0.0 on Linux Mint 19.1 Cinnamon with Threadripper 1950X and GTX1080Ti/NVIDIA driver 418.43 installed. How about you?

I thought you were using arnold CPU ! because arnold GPU do not support ramp_rgb.

Reproduced in Centos 7 - this has been fixed for the next HtoA release.

It crashes on my side too. I am on Linux Mint. Is there any solution for that?
