How to achieve C4Ds "layer mask" in Arnold?

Hi. I'm trying to re-create C4Ds displaced mountain shader in Arnold and I'm having some difficulty re-creating C4Ds "layer mask" for the snow. What this mask does is apply a snow texture to only the higher displaced areas of the landscape while leaving the lower areas as a rocky shader.

See screenshots.

EDIT: So after more research, I've tried plugging a utility node set to shading point into my ramp (now properly placed into the alpha channel of the top layer) which seems closer but not really placing the snow on the tops.

Another technique where the ramp is set to "V" and the snow mask texture is flat mapped works for getting the snow on the top and rocks below but the displacement no longer maps properly.

So yeah, still stuck!

I recently tried something similar and was quite successful with the shading state node. Just google cinema 4D falloff shader recreation, for me that pointed in the right direction.
