The default shader setup created in Maya 2018 for an aero sim is working though the render times are much slower than expected. I've attempted to export them with OpenVDB but the voxel data seems to get lost. I've had success with the same VDB workflow for Maya Fluids but there's something different about the Aero data. Either I get a cloud of particles or every voxel is totally opaque. Has anyone had success with rendering aero using Arnold?
