Can't see spotlight in RenderView?

I'm a student and completely new to Maya, but doing a project of an animated walk cycle. I've inserted a spotlight into my scene, the problem is when in RenderView I can't see it. Am I missing something?

Have you tried increasing the Exposure? You can use Atmosphere Volume to see the visible cone of the light.
