Arnold is constantly crashing

Hello there.

I keep getting a crash when I try to bake textures in Arnold using MtoA. Below is the error that i'm always getting. I did a cleanup geometry operation, but the crashes still happen.

Any ideas?

That's pretty generic. Got a repro for it?

It's hard to reproduce. It does not happen with the same shape repeatedly. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.

We are also seeing that when we bake textures on a lot of geometry objects, Maya's memory consumption sometimes goes way up.

It seems like there is a memory leak somewhere. I will try to follow up with more info as I find it.

Sincerely

Is this happening with other apps besides Maya?

Nope, Just when doing a texture bake from Maya.
