Check the Arnold log.

You can get individual log files for each frame:

  1. In the Arnold Render Settings, go to the Diagnostics tab.
  2. In the Verbosity Level list, click Warnings + Info.
  3. Click the File check box.
  4. Click the folder icon and choose a folder for the Arnold log files.

Or you can check the MayaRender log, which will be one log file, with the log messages for every frame.

On OSX, open the Console and look for ~/Library/Logs/Maya/mayaRender.log

Hi friend i have the same problem, when i launch the batch render nothing happen and only appear this message:

// Result: Rendering with Arnold Renderer... //
// Result: Rendering Completed. See Console for more information. //
The image folder its empty and the log file is not generated

but when i launch render option process appear images and log file, the problem is still with the batch render, i have make the set project to specified folder and even so generate a temporary file its strange that. Rendering with Arnold 2.1.0 under MacOsx 10.11.6

arnold1.txt shows a render that starts, but the log just ends during ray tracing. Did you grab the log before the render finished? (Fri Nov 17 18:45:26 2017)

mayarender.txt shows that MtoA couldn't be loaded at all (Fri Nov 17 19:12:09 CLST 2017)

So these don't look like logs for the same render.

The mayarender.txt log shows that your environment is wrong. Maya is trying to load an old version of Yeti (2.1.2) for a different version of Maya, and the Yeti install has an old mtoa library in it (and that mtoa file should not be in the Yeti install)

go to uninstall in control panner . And click uninstall . maya uninstall window will appear. In that window it asks for Repair/reinstall & uninstall. click repair/reinstall then click repair. It works for me .
