HTOA 3.3.0 curve basis property is ignored on alembic packed primitives?

I have an alembic fur cache cache and i try to set the curve basis parameter to catmull-rom on object level and on primitive level (ar_basis ? maybe wrong) but the property is ignored on render (fur curves render with sharp corners) and export (checked the ass file in text editor). The only workaround at the moment is to unpack the almebic. Then the objectlevel property works as expected.

Is this behavior a bug or am I doing sth wrong?

You can add the basis as user data on the Geometry node, this will affect all the curves in the alembic

Thanks!

I was looking at user options earlier but I would never have figured out that syntax 🙂

It works perfect on my test scene, but on the fur cache it somehow takes forever to start rendering (i actually never waited until it really starts). When i unpack the same cache it renders quite fast. Can't explain why, but it works.
Thanks for the solution, already used this tip somewhere else. 😉
