light color doesn.t affect toon base tonemap?

Hello,

I am new to Arnold, and I'm doing some test with the Toon shader. I just realized that when I use the base tonemap on a character, the light color in the scene don't have any effect on the model. Even if I put a light to an extreme red or green, nothing change

Is there a turnaround about it ?

What if you have a scene where the light change, you need to animate manually the color of each shader? it seems a bit strange to me. I'm sure I am missing something obvious here.

Thanks for your help

You could plug the output of a utility shader set to lambert in to the Base Color input of the aiToon shader that way it multiplies against the tonemap.
