maya disable rendering of smooth mesh preview?

Hi. I was a very early user of mtoa. Earlier arnold ignored maya's smooth mesh preview. This was the logical and correct way, because it is just a viewport preview. I don't like the new setting that the smooth mesh preview gets rendered and added to any existing arnold subdivision at all. This is totally confusing and inconsistent for production. The viewport preview should not have any influence on the actual rendered subdivisions. How can I disable this new "feature"? I hope this is possible. Best regards

Disable Use Preview Level for Rendering ?

Hi Stephen, thanks for answering. But the 'Use Preview Level for Rendering' has to be set for every shape node, right? And it is on by default. Is there any global arnold render setting to disable this for all nodes in the scene? Thanks.

It doesn't seem to appear in the Attribute Spreadsheet, so I would use Override Sets.

I see. Thanks for that info, Lee. Would still love to see a 'use maya's preview level for rendering' checkbox in the arnold render settings in the future! 🙂

cheers
