Combining normal maps C4DtoA

I'm trying to combine tangent normal maps with B&W bump maps but for some reason I can't get this working.

I've read the following article on the supportsite but this doesn't work for me:

https://support.solidangle.com/display/AFMUG/Combining+Normal+and+Bump+Maps

This is currently my setup:

But I only receive the bump who goes in the bump map slot of the last bump2d.
The first bump that goes in the normal slot gets lost somewhere.

Anyone can clear this up?

I just found a work around using the mix node before plugging it into the standard surface, works quite fine!

Replace the top bump2d node (the one your normal image is being plugged into) with a normal map node. That should do it.

Lurk, would be great to see your solution via the mix node. Please post a screenshot!
