Refraction not showing any colour - Maya

Following along to Lee Griggs tutorial and almost there, but for some reason the refraction is grey. Do you have any advice for fixing this?

Are you using a Al Shader? What version are of Arnold are you using? Al Shader might not be compatible.

I am using an aiStandardSurface and the latest version of Arnold.

It looks like you are missing this step from the tutorial (see shader at bottom of tutorial):

  • Connect the same projected texture to the Specular IOR and Transmission Color via a Rangeshader. The Range shader is used to define how much the texture will refract and can be used to fine-tune the effect.
