Spent two mornings (so far) getting the FlexNet server running, initially had problem with hostname, but that seems to be fixed. In OS X Terminal and Activity Monitor, it all seems to be running ok, but in C4D I am still getting watermarks (v2.2.0). Feels like I’m back back in the seventies pre GUI. Great way to alienate your users!
Seeing as there are so many support options (Solidangle/answers/Autodesk Support) can someone point me in the direction of the one I need to just use the software please?

Autodesk licensing is supported by Autodesk technical support.
Does "seems to be running ok" mean that lmutil lmstat shows the Arnold license?
Did you set ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE?
What does it say in the Arnold log?
Hi Stephen, I went through all the Autodesk setup pages, didn’t realise I needed to set ADSKFLEX_LICENSE_FILE. I suppose their setup pages are generic for all the differing software, but a hint about the next step of getting the plugin to see the server would have been useful.
No watermarks now. Many thanks for your help.
Hi Dean
How did you get to the Autodesk setup pages? Were you sent a link, or did you search the Autodesk KB?
Hi Stephen, yes it was the links on the Autodesk Account page, below the Serial Numbers Section (More - Help installing).
These pages got me to two very helpful ones, to set up the server on OSX
And then to auto start the server on boot (Under Maya page - and Arnold Page would be useful):
Hope that helps.
