Hi guys,
a character of ours gets scaled in animation, because he grows to a giant. So the gobal ctrl of the rig was scaled. The arnold displacement maps are getting very small accordingly. I tried to compensate the scale via a AiDispHeight override set on object basis and plugged the scale factor of the rig into the height so that the disp height of the shaders gets multiplied. Sadly the displacement is too strong now. What's the math behind this..? I divided the scale factor by 3 and it looks right-ish, but it's not exact. Any advice? Thanks!
Call me crazy but..., if you get close to what you want with a "3.0" factor..., it looks like it MIGHT be something related to "pi"?, so you may try "3.1415927"?
