Exactly what the title says. An arnold render done by itself produces an alpha, but when I try to render sequence (since batch render produces a watermark) the images don't have an alpha channel.
There is an aiSkyDomeLight, currently with visibility slider set all the way to the left (off), under its shape node.
I've been scouring the internet all day, I'm sure I'm not the only person with this problem and I wouldn't be surprised if I was missing something.

Using a student version of Maya 2018 on a Windows PC.
I am NOT rendering .PNG's.
I am using render sequence, and not batch render.
