Gpu render not showing shaders in Maya

I have just been experimenting with GPU renders in Arnold. My shaders show up fine in a CPU render but when I switch to GPU they disappear. Any help would be much appreciated. Here are some pictures of my settings.

What's "ai skin" ? Is it using some unsupported shader?

Did you check the Arnold log?

Hi @Stephen Blair

Thank you for your reply, I checked my render log there and the GPU render is not recognising some of my shaders. I am fairly new to Maya, is there any workarounds I can do to get it to work? The rig I downloaded specified that all the shaders on the character are supported by Maya. They work fine on a CPU render but I would really like to take advantage of my graphics card. Here is a screenshot of my render log.

Those look like Arnold 4 shaders. Try converting them to Arnold 5 shaders first.

Thanks everyone, I've got it working. I converted the ai skin shader to ai standard. Ai skin was removed in arnold 5.

Glad you got it sorted. Once you are more comfortable, I recommend starting to use Standard Surface.

@Marc Armour

Yep that should be it these look like legacy shaders to me. Bear in mind arnold gpu is still in beta. All shaders are not supported.

@Lee Griggs Thanks Lee, I managed to get it sorted and I am enjoying those sweet, sweet GPU render times. Thanks for the supported features list, I'm sure that will come in handy If I have any more problems.
