Volume Displacement padding problems

Hi There

I try to recreate Lee Griggs Volume Displacements.

I follow the Tutorial on the Arnold site.

When i render the head mesh with padding everything looks very tranparancy (0.05 padding). with no padding every thing looks rock solid.

I tryed to upload the images here but everytime with parsing errors 😞 so here you can see it in my dropbox-->

i hope that anyone can help me to fix this problem 😄

Greetings

Johnny

Do you get the same result with the scene included at the bottom of the tutorial?

The mesh must be absolutely watertight, with no holes. If there's a hole, it will render as if the volume had 100% density -- a solid surface.
