Intel Optane DC Persistent Memory resides in the DRAM slot. It has several modes, one of which is App Direct, which means a particular application can utilize the memory as a persistent cache to increase performance of the app.
Does Arnold Renderer support this type of memory? If yes, what are the specs for this kind of support?
A good reference to learn more about this type of memory:

Doesn't make sense for a renderer to use AppDirect mode and because of how cache is generally accessed in raytracing it would not make any positive impact even in Memory mode.
