Problem getting Cryptomatte to work in Maya and fusion

I am using the sample scene provided here: https://docs.arnoldrenderer.com/display/A5AFMUG/Cryptomatte+AOV+User+Data

When I export the multi-exr file from the Arnold IPR and import it in fusion i can't get it to work.

I posted this on the fusion forum and was told the problem is that the exr is missing the manifest.

Am I supposed to change a setting to get this to work?

Here is the link to the question I posted on the fusion forum: https://www.steakunderwater.com/wesuckless/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=3196

Render the frame to disk. Don't render to the IPR Window and then save it.

Thanks that fixed it. I am curious why it doesn't export using Arnold IPR when you can view the crypto passes in the IPR? Is this a known limitation or a bug or something else.

You'll be missing metadata, because rendering to the ARV isn't using the same drivers as rendering to disk.
