Filtered Depth AOV

Hi,

To get a clean, filtered depth AOV, is the best way to add the standard Z one and then to change its filter from closet to gaussian?

I just want to use this for a basic fog pass in Nuke and wondering which is the best way to generate it.

Thanks

@ Stephen Blair, would you have any ideas on this one? It's just that we are against the clock on it and need all renders by this Friday.

Cheers Stephen 🙂

It's up to you. By default the Z AOV uses the closest filter, but if you want anti-aliasing then you can set the filter to gaussian.

I was just unsure of the proper way to go about it. I will use this method though

Is it not possible to add the two Z AOVs (filtered and unfiltered) into the same list of AOVs?
