MakeTx Failing to convert textures to proper color space

Hello everyone,

I am trying to use the color management features in Maya/MtoA. These used to work perfectly, but after applying the latest Maya 2017 update and while using mtoa 2.0.2.4 I am seeing this error

[AiMakeTx] prep 0.00s (2.1 GB) Reading file: /Users/rudy.cortes/Development/Projects/Evil_Trunk/Projects/Kindred/Work/Environment/F003/S001/Zones/Ground/textures_optimized/topRightGround_N.png read "/Users/rudy.cortes/Development/Projects/Evil_Trunk/Projects/Kindred/Work/Environment/F003/S001/Zones/Ground/textures_optimized/topRightGround_N.png" 0.80s (3.3 GB) misc2 1.49s (4.9 GB) Converting from colorspace 'sRGB' to colorspace 'scene-linear Rec 709/sRGB' Error Creating Color Processor: Arnold Color Managers can only convert from and to working linear color space, getProcessor

[maketx] Couldn't convert the texture to TX "/Users/rudy.cortes/Development/Projects/Evil_Trunk/Projects/Kindred/Work/Environment/F003/S001/Zones/Ground/textures_optimized/bottomRightGround_N.png"

It seems like maketx is not liking 'scene-linear Rec 709/sRGB' as an input. Is anyone experiencing this?

I also see this in the render log

[mtoa.translator] synColorTranslator: Arnold node type color_manager_syncolor does not exist.

Sincerely

This is the problem:

[mtoa.translator] synColorTranslator: Arnold node type color_manager_syncolor does not exist.

MtoA ships with SynColor libraries in the bin folder; there must be a dependency problem with them.

Yeah, that's what I thought, we had an earlier thread about this. I have tried re-installing Maya and Arnold, and I still see that message. For some reason, it is not being installed on my machine.

Is there any place I can just get that node so I can drop it in the right location?

I Found libSyncColor.2017.0.69.dylib in the bin folder. What other libraries does that library depend on?
