Hello Stephen, I am using 4.0.0. and 4.2.1 I just thought to ask before I open a new topic.

With newer versions of Arnold, you can use these assignments with a Set Parameter operator:

use_light_group = true
light_group = ['green_lightShape' 'ground_lightShape']

Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it work. Could you please elaborate a bit further? Where do I have to write this? I tried with a light_group assignment but I guess I did it wrong.

You use an operator. That's what you have to assign to whatever you select

can you be more specific on how to add this operator?

You use the Attribute Editor for an aiStandIn node.

That's what the File Contents box is for.
You select an object, create a set parameter operator, and set the light link values

You'll need to use the names of the lights as they appear in an exported ass file.
