Rendering of simple scene takes forever with MtoA

Hi there,

I'm trying to render a simple scene which consists of 1 prop with textures and it takes enormously long whether it's IPR or normal render. To get to the 14% which you see on screenshot took 20 min!
I turned off one of the lights, tried to turn off part of the textures and it didn't help. I didn't change sampling (only on sky dome set to 3) as I wanted to do just quick tests.
What can be wrong here?

You'll want to enable info messages in the arnold log and then at the end of the render Arnold will print out a bunch of stats showing where the time is going. What I usually do for these tests is drop the camera AA down to 1 so that the test renders is just a few minutes -- in your case it should be 9x faster. Post the entire log here and we might be able to identify what could be happening.

One thing I don't get is that you said only 14% was rendered in the screenshot, but in the screenshot it looks like the entire image is rendered?

Have you also tried using Feature Overrides to try and determine where it is slowing down?

Can you upload a simplified scene that shows the problem (as well as the log)?
