Animating Sampling in MtoA 2.1.0

Hi
I need to animate the camera (AA) over time as my object moves from distance and small in frame to foreground and filling frame. The setting needed for AA ate distance is way overkill for when its near.
Using the MtoA included in Maya2018 i was able to keyframe the Camera (AA) setting over time and keep manageable rendertimes.
However since updating to MtoA 2.1.0 i seem to have lost this function. Now when i enter mulitple keyframes it just picks one of them and locks the value to that for whole timeline.
Does anyone know another way to animate the sampling values, or why this function might have stopped working with update?
Thanks

If I got you right .. decheck outliner->DAG Object Only .. then look for defaultArnoldRenderOptions .. then once in the AttributeEditor look for your entry and simply Key it. Works here.

With MtoA 2.1 and Maya 2017 Update 4, I can set keys on AA, but then AA_samples isn't exported.

I don't see any errors or warnings in the logs, so something must have changed.

@Stephen Blair

if you set keys as showed above they are correctly exported. both ASS and render sequence. maya2017/2018.

That's what I did: key the attribute in the Attribute Editor

Thanks a lot for your help.
I tried this method and after viewing the render logs it looks like it is now outputting animated sample values during batch render.
its still a bit buggy in that if i click around in the timeline a bit after setting it, it can sometimes snap back to one value. but if i make it the last thing set before i render it retains the animation for render.

Good that's working. Just take care that you're animating (interpolating) an integer value so for some keys it could be still the prev value, you may be able to better ctrl your expected values by using a linear interp by setting a straight line in the graph editor.
