Hi, I am testing the denoise noice. I have tried 2 different scenes/ files, and tried on Mac and Windows. (See version specs below)
When I render the sequence it runs for an hour or 2 then crashes - the log file get to " initializing (x amount of) nodes ."
Tests I have tried:
just using denoise aov tick box,
but also tested adding extra aov's tried rendering at highish quality and at low quality.
Obviously when I don't use denoise it renders fine. The actual denoise AFTER the initial render is fine- I just can not output the initial renders,.... thus rendering the renderer useless........(sorry)
the files are not super complex, but obviously its more than a cube on a plain background. One of the files has a Mash network, which I cached even though is didnt have dynamics only a signal node.
from the research I have done it seems the memory is getting locked up / memory leak?
help.

Hi Ju Wo: I'm with the same problem here, and losing my mind to solve it. Did you find a solution for this? I don't find more information than your comments. Thank you!
If "render the sequence" means Render > Render Sequence, then MtoA 4.0.2 has this bug fix:
#4098 Render Sequence crashes when you Output Denoising AOVs
