rendering rain in arnold

i am new to arnold so please take it easy on me.

i use rainy scenes in my work and have been creating rain in mental ray – now i am trying to use arnold but the streak particle is not supported and it looks like snow

does any one know how to create realistic rain in arnold?

can anyone recommend a tutorial? – i have looked and cant find a thing

thank you for any help

You could try increasing the Motion Blur Length for regular particles to get a streak effect.

You will find it inside Arnold setting itself

i would like to make a note here in case other folks want to use this solution

you wont see the blur when you render a single frame in the render view window

it will only sow up when you do a render sequence in arnold

@Lee Griggs thank you again for your help here
