It does work here on GPU.

I have glowing spheres in my current scene.

Are you using a texture to drive the shader?

It works fine here. Does it work if you just add it to a sphere in a new scene? If so, try to hide everything in the scene except the emitting object to try and identify the cause.

A brand new map works,

Need to create a new version of it.

Broken or invalid files: 1
/headphones_low_1002_Emissive.tx -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But why on CPU I get them to work??

If you re-create it do you get the same issue? What does the log file say?

I if I re created the map, get the same mistake, I reckon It maybe be an alpha channel error, that is managed differently between the CPU/GPU versions
Can' test it know as everytime I play with it also get maya crashes

solved- Ok I've just confirmed, on the gpu I needed to use alpha as luminance, versus CPU don't need to use it....

that was it 🙂

Could you possibly supply us with the texture file (for internal testing only)?
