Hi everyone,
i'm student and i try to make my own textures, so i'm new to this.
I try to use the aiuserdata to switch color on different objects with the same shader (like here:
https://docs.arnoldrenderer.com/display/AFMUG/Ai+UserData+Shaders#AiUserDataShaders-AiUserDataColor) but it renders the default value of my aiuserdatafloat/aiuserdatacolor everytime, even if I follow every step of the documentation.
And the Extra Attributes i create appears in Shader_sphere, not in Shader_sphereShape as shown in the docs. Someone knows why ?
I'm using student version of Maya 2019 with MtoA 3.1.2

You have to add the mtoa_constant attribute to the shape node
