C4toA UDIM tag and "Ignore Missing textures" property

Hello!,

With Cinema4d r19 and C4toA 2.5.1

I'm testing to use some textures (UDIM Mari filename "texture.UDIM.exr"). I only had exported UDIM textures with information, I mean if I only need Opacity channel in UDIM 10 I only have OPC.1010.exr file.

Problem: When I try to use <UDIM> tag (like OPC.<UDIM>.exr) Arnold give me an error, ok this is normal...Arnold not found the others files for all UDIMS. BUT when I check "Ignore missing texture" I suppose that when I add <UDIM> tag, Arnold try to search all file sequence and when not found one of it, simply not use it, but if it found any texture with UDIM number it must be used in placed correctly.

In this manner I think that I don't need to export all UDIM files if those are not useful only to make <UDIM> tag work correctly.

Now when I check "Ignore missing texture", C4toA replace all with "missing texture color" and not respect existing UDIM files.

Can someone confirm that if this behaviour is correct?

How can I use <UDIM> tag to read only existing udim files without have complete UDIM sequences..

Thanks

It seems to work properly in our tests, only the missing ones are replaced with the 'missing texture color'. Can you send me a scene?

I'm in OSX. Are you tested there?

I'm use "auto convert to tx" and "use tx when available" too.

Thanks

Are you testing it with UDIM different of 1001?

Here a screenshot with a object with Opacity file (placed in tex folder) OPC.1010.tx applied directly to Arnold Beauty...

With <UDIM> tag Arnold not apply 1010 texture then not work correctly here... a mystery.

Our test shows no problem: udim-plane.zip

I'm not sure what's different in your case. Could you send me your scene?
