How to increase the intensity of indirect lighting without increasing the intensity of the direct light?

New from Mental Ray and I am looking to speed up my renders by splitting them into passes which I cannot find in Arnold.
I usually render my scenes with Direct where I set my lights as usual without Final Gather.
For indirect I set my lights very dim but the Final Gather x 10 - 20 times.

Anyway to do this in Arnold?

Arnold is a physically accurate renderer. Rather than rely on dirty hacks, I recommend familiarizing yourself with fine-tuning sampling and removing noise to reduce render times (there are also denoisers available).

Have you also tried AOVs?
