Hi !
I'm trying to render hair generated instances but can't get instances to be renderer with their own textures.
ie I'm making a grass field and want to add flowers, so I created some flower mesh, add textures on it and then get an hair module to generate this flower mesh instead of simple hair objects. Meshes are generated in the scene but doesn't get any texture from their original model. Is there any way to link their texture to the arnold hair shader ?

Instancing with the Hair object is not supported by C4DtoA. You can instance a particles system (e.g. X-particles), Matrix object with fields, etc. Is it possible to convert your setup to one of the supported solutions?
thanks for your answer ! ok so i'll have to find another solution, I needed hair system because of the wind simulation but I can work something from a cloner/matrix object, deformer and fields maybe !
