I wish to know how to hide the light shape from appearing in the reflection of a object with a reflective material. I kinda work with the light object(arnold or mental ray light) as separate from the "model" of the light.

If you reduce the Specular contribution, you'll drastically change the look of the rendering. There is actually no way to preserve the look of the material while simultaneously preventing the light surface from appearing in the reflective surface. This is a limitation in Arnold. We can hide the light surface from the camera while preserving the look of the material, but we cannot hide the light surface from reflections while preserving the look of the material.
