The render session exporter is orders of magnitudes faster than the exporter in the file menu.
Last test here.
25000 tree instances was saved to .ass and gave me max UI after a handful of seconds.
Using the file menu exporter, I managed to play some football and score while export dialouge had moved maybe 3%.

So I would filter content, then initiate a render session if you want to batch something with speed in mind.

Hi mads,
Thanks for the reply.
I totally missed the point that render session exporter is so much faster. Thanks for the tip.
But i'm still confused about the max script command format to export using render session.
I got the handles for options using renderers.current to everything
But cant really figure out what command would actually export it.
Need just a example of it.

You need to access the render panel Archive tab.
The setup your switch states and paths and stuff.
Then call a production render session, it wont render, it will cast the data to the .ass file.

Same tab beneath it is where you can setup .mtlx exports and into looks.
If you overwrite a .mtlx file with a different look name it will stack it in the file, so file now has 2 looks.
