As soon as we activate some crypto passes, even if we save them in a
separate file, using noice gives us these messages :
Using feature AOV 'diffuse_albedo'
Filters for feature and light AOVs are different: denoising works
better with matching filters.
Using feature AOV 'N'
Filters for feature and light AOVs are different: denoising works
better with matching filters.
Using feature AOV 'Z'
Filters for feature and light AOVs are different: denoising works
better with matching filters.
Working with 1 frame at 1x1
Warning: some output paths were ignored, since outputs always follow the
input file layout.
Start denoising (patch radius 3, search radius 9, variance 0.5)
Finished denoising
...and outputs nothing. We have to completely deactivate crypto to make
it work.
We've had this problem a couple times. Is this normal? Is there a way to
get around this issue without having to deactivate cryptomatte?
Works for me in Maya and Houdini.
First, I would check the options.outputs in an exported ASS (and compare that against something from a working scene). Could be something about the scene set up, or how HtoA translates it.
For the filters not matching thing, did you disable "same as beauty" ?
It's because we have multiple cameras in our scene... when we delete all other cameras before rendering, the denoising works fine.
